To snorkel amongst beautifully coloured fish is definitely on my list of things to do. I also would love to swim with the dolphins. Just two things I have yet to do.. out of many. :-)

and here I've thought I was safe from tagging. I didn't answer the mate one since I don't have one.
hiya...
I just came here via Ann Marie and it is nice here...nicely green and the snorkelthing would be fun to do, especially in february....
Hey girl! Great list! I love the list of things you say!
I did this list a while back, so I won't bore everyone again!
PS- ND and Office Space are the best!!!
xoxo
Those were wonderful Cate! By the way I am so excited you are doing a self portrait...I can't WAIT to hear/read it! I just finished mine and since I feel like this week has been way too much about me (i.e SP Tuesday, the mama says om poem, now the SP for thursday) I'm going to wait a bit to do this list, k. Thank you so much though for thinking of me and tagging me. I was so delighted to see you included me.
Allright, Im' going to go read monkey boys list now....I can only imagine...
;)
a.
I don't even want to know what you'd put. I'll probably have nightmares.
Love your answers, Cate. :)
Coming out of lurkdom.....I LOVE every one of your favorite movies. After Hours is a classic and I love to watch whenever it's on. Waiting for Guffman, Crimes and Misdemeanors......again, favorites. I was just watching Napoleon Dynamite on cable last night. (=
I recently introduced my teenage niece and nephew to "This is Spinal Tap". I'm not sure Josh was all that impressed, but Amber loved it.
And your inclusion of "Valley Girl" made me laugh because one of the guilty teen comedy pleasures I STILL love is "Clueless". I tell myself it's not so bad since it's based on Jane Austen, but really I'd love it anyway. It just cracks me up.
Colleen,
I was surprised that I had a difficult time coming up with the "before I die" list. The Canadian resort vacation and snorkeling are the only two things that came to me easily.
CR,
Thanks for playing!
Antonia,
Thanks for stopping by. I adore Ann Marie's writing.
Baylor,
Oh, jeez, I forgot that you did it already. I love that you enjoy ND and OS!
Andrea and CR,
Notice that I address you collectively now. You both have me screaming with laughter again!
Kat,
Thanks for tagging me! These lists are always fun to think up.
Acumamakiki,
Thanks for revealing yourself! I have never met anyone else who enjoyed After Hours (barely know anyone who has seen it). It's so great, almost painful in a funny way (?). Oh, and I could watch ND again and again (that bike ramp scene; man, that's good).
Deb,
I love Clueless, too. I think it's "smarter" than Valley Girl (maybe the Jane Austen connection?). How great that you "passed the Spinal Tap torch!" I've intro'd many a friend to it, with mixed reactions. I used to use it to weed out bad boyfriends--if they "got" it, they were keepers!
Well, you finally got me, hon.
Here is my list:

The Augusta Opera is doing La Traviata in May and I plan on going to see it as my first. (also followed by a lavish meal)
I love 'She's Come Undone' too.
Your hub's a keeper like mine. :-)
Luckily gnocchi can be bought fresh around here.
Banff would be a great vacation getaway.
I can only wink with one eye even though a bunch of my family can do it with either alternately.
Rita,
Lucky. I hope you blog about the experience. I want to know every detail, which I am sure you will notice and document beautifully!
Pearl,
That's it, that's the place that I was thinking of (but couldn't remember the name). I saw a special about it on one of the HD channels and was hooked. I WILL go there before I die.
Oh, fresh gnocchi. I would be in heaven. And alternate winking--now, that's impressive!
P.S. Three cheers for good husbands :)
