Kick Your Heels Up And Shout

Gotta go write. I have an idea for a story and am afraid that if I don't commit it to the page sometime soon, I'll lose it. I'm driving 100 miles per hour down a lonely road . . . but I'm in a convertible and I've got my wind bonnet and Jackie O. sunglasses on!

P.S. Pictures of my boys in the new socks that my mother knitted for them Matching socks, no less. We're all kicking up our heels and shouting around here! Shhhhh . . . a little bit softer now! But only after American Idol!

I love the socks! I hope someday to be able to knit socks.

When I read, "a little bit softer now..." it made me think of Animal House when they're in the bar and they're dancing...."a little bit louder now..." (=

What was the name of the guy who sang first last night? Ya him GO HIM!

I like him...oh and bald rock start guy. He looks like my husband. The women, yaaaa, not so great this year I think.

Love the socks of course, they make me think of Dr. Seuss for some reason.

Can't wait to read what your writing.

...the first guy was Taylor Hicks and the last guy was Chris Dawtry or something like that...and they are both our favorites for the guys...

The guys and girls both have about 4 that are possible finalists!

Thanks, everyone! I will pass your generous compliments on to my mom!

P.S. We rooting for Taylor and Chris, also in Idol. But I still like the young crooner kid. He needs to go home, though, if they're going to keep ripping him apart!

Andrea,
No, the cute, brown haired boy who sang "Fly Me To The Moon." Last week, they told him he was a joke because he did some sort of Elvis-y kind of number. This week, he goes to back to his roots and they tell him he's forgettable (which, obviously, he must be :).

The kid with glasses doesn't impress me. He seems sweet enough but I'm not a fan of his voice. I liked Ace the first week, too, but not this time around. Who do you think is going home?

I agree, I do not like harry potter at all. I missed the guy your talking abouts song...putting kids to bed and all. Too bad if he goes.
